it is a painful thing to see watching a giver who can’t receive

they just don’t know what to do, unless they are doing something for you

makes them squirm in their shoes, and wiggle in their skin

when they are on the receiving end

what they are really trying to say, I’m okay just keep away

and if I am doing for you, I can keep you from getting to close to me

you see, I don’t really feel that good about me and to cover up what I don’t want you to know

I’ll just do for you and keep you away from me
