A fable:

i came upon a friend, whom i was happy to see and i ask him why he seemed excited to me

he said,”old friend i have wasted so much time, looking for something that was already mine”

as he was leaving he smiled and said to me, keep walking until you see the wise man under the tree

well, he had certainly captured my interest, this was a man i had not known, except for his features and the ring on his hand, he had been transformed into a happy and lively man

the aforementioned lad had been angry and cross, a devil to do any business with and a tyrant as a boss

but this man who just left was a source of delight, and as he walked away his form seemed to shimmer in the light

so i continued on my way and in the distance i vaguely could see a queer-looking man seated under a tree

as i approached him i motioned his way and said, ” hoping my friend you are enjoying this day”

to which he replied in a calm steady voice, ” why indeed i am sir, it has been my choice”

he continued to speak as i approached, ” you see my friend, matters not what this world offers to give or take from me, what matters more is how i have fixed my mind to accept all as gifts, their purpose to find. ……so before i begin to label each as good or bad, i see what is before me as something i should have……..for it is in the doing that much is revealed to me and as i live life this way, i cannot be any other way than happy , joyous and free…………………for each has its purpose and some i cannot see but as i continue it becomes clearer to me…………….. so if you like you friend came to petition me, everything you wish already belongs to thee

merely set your mind to accept what life brings and you will understand, you happiness starts in your mind”
