a movable feast

i couldn’t imagine being any more free then the life of a turtle

consider that a turtle has everything in its world with him at all times

no clothes, no possessions, no constraints………………ready to go anywhere, at any time, in a moments notice

i believe this lifestyle is attainable…………….but one would need to have a strong desire to achieve the goal of ultimate freedom

one would need to be on very good terms with himself or herself to weather the consequences of movable relationships, there would be consequences because people always want more

everyone knows someone who travels often and generally by themselves…………for all apparent appearances they seem quite content, obviously a sign of a secure and confident person

it all centers around attachment, everything has a price, a self-sufficient person could do it, handle the grief from friends, the ones that matter would adjust and the rest would slip away………………

i understand to have a friend, you have to be a friend………………..whatever you desire you must return in kind to receive   however sincerity, genuine kindness and concern have little to do with volume of time spent in the presence of someone and quickly melt away miles

the key is being totally present wherever you are, yeah that’s how it’s done

i may go there at some point in my life, one never knows, maybe when the grand-kids are grown………………….i find the idea interesting………………the reality is very few people have the will, desire and backbone to be free, because they are so dependent and under the lash of too many opinions……………… the real issue is they are scared……………….scared to step into the unknown

i love turtles, and i stop and pick them up when i see them sunning in the road……………………………….somehow i feel akin

welcome ”turtle man” / at home anywhere……………………………sounds cool
