a difficult man will take his stand and fight to the very end

and over time perhaps………………………………………………….he will find he could have accomplished more

if he had put more effort into making his adversary his friend

but stubborn as we sometimes are we think there should be pain

and though we were the ones who threw the spears

they are now embedded in our brain
