seeing mankind slip on the ever-present banana peel, watching the efforts of those fallen to rise again, you recorded as many of these instances as you could…………………..remembering the thoughts you hid in your heart, always wondering what had and had not been learned

approaching life on a tip-toe, your personal experience gained you courage………..with this confidence and your thirst for life, you gained control of your fear and replaced it with  understanding

my teacher:

i always wanted to remind you of the many times we shared learning together, partly hoping to return to those times, but i know you never forgot…………….you never forgot anything…………………..even so you were quick to forgive

i clung to every word you spoke, because your words were few and well-chosen, making them even more precious…………at times i wondered if you grasped the intent of my questions, only to be amazed how deeply your answers would penetrate and touch the part of me that wasn’t sure
