who much is your word worth?

parable: the value of your word

the obins were a simple people……………….after the great tumult, the day the rearrangement took place and everything that was in place as far as systems or currency were replaced by the value of ones’ word.

so no one had to carry money, only a code was needed that designated the value of your word……………………………..which was decided by an independent panel who only had information about the history of one’s dealings, recorded by the office of obin affairs

it was simple, when you went to”engage”, a word that replaced purchase, your history was pulled up by the code you provided and that determined your ”bullah”, what the transaction would cost in reference to what your history provided from past transaction’s,” shinto’s ”

so whatever you had in excess , food, water, time, knowledge was logged into the ”abundant log”…………………… it was valued according to values that had been negotiated by the board of fairness, which engaged in the ”great review” every 3 years to try and keep things equitable as the” ecomedy” changed       the ”sobin”, seller was given a receipt that the ”dubin”, the buyer, placed his fingerprint on and that was redeemed at the ”abundant” warehouses

what happened very rapidly was the wealth of obin families changed almost overnight………………………….the ”shintos”,  transactions previously recorded, determined the value of your word. there was resistance among the obins that had engaged in dubious ”shinto’s” prior to the great ”tumult”, but they did not have the votes needed to sway the ”shavron,” the election that determined all issues that affected the nation. the ”shavron,” was  open to all over the age of presumption, 18 yados, [a yado replaced a year and was a 1,000 days} History  prior to the tumult had convinced the obins that it was around the age of presumption that intellect replaced self-determination, and obins were more apt to consider the nation as a whole.

so as an obin you progressed by doing what you committed to and how you handled your daily transactions with other obins.

the ” shintos,” spoke for themselves and the value of a person’s word could propel them forward as a preferred ”sobin” or a respected ” dubin.”

the obin society was continually elevated by the evidence that no one could argue with………………………………..each dubin was in charge of their own fate                 if you didn’t like your ”bullah” if could be changed by your current ”engagements” and presented to the panel every three years. the panels were electronically selected and were not selected by votes          six obins made up the panels for every 1,000 obins……………………..everything was public information and if you had questions one could look at the same info the panel saw

it was fun conjuring up this fantasy scenario…………….but the reality is a person is judged by the value and merit of their word……………fortunes have been lost and made because of what someone has promised…………..and lives have been changed and lost because of them as well

say clearly what you mean and mean what you say……………………….”from one obin to another”
