DOPE DON’T CARE/ FOR ANNIE

dope don’t care how you wear your hair, who you know or what you are reading         dope don’t care , where you go or where you spend your summers          dope don’t care if you think you’re having fun, you won’ be laughing when it own’s ya           dope don’t care how many times you slid between the sheets or the promises you didn’t keep           dope don’t care that you think you’re in control, paying for your shit by cheating others, only to find yourself a month later selling your  stuff to cover your habit           dope don’t care how pretty you are           you were a head turner, now you’re turning heads because you scare people with that look that only a crazed doper can have               dope don’t care that you went from high rise to living in your car and you spent you last few dollars to feed your habit instead of feeding your kids

Annie, hope you make it

dope is the rope we weave by putting ourselves above others/ after we succumb to it’s control,  often we end up putting that rope around our neck

i’m not judging you or anyone Sister, takes one to know one

by Gods’ grace i took the rope off, praying you can too
