walking in this slop/because i let my defenses drop/now i have to forgive and move on/so the bottom can become the top

like a seesaw life teeters on the spot between what’s good for you / and what’s  not/ so to keep this thing in balance often there are things you have to drop………………like blame

most people don’t have you in their sight/ they aren’t trying to kill  you they just want to sample a few bites/ so brush them off and and tend to your wounds and move along

somewhere you will see them still looking for a shot, but once you recognize their game they go to the bottom and you go to the top
